    Ridgefield has been on top of the U.S. Census Bureau’s list of fastest growing cities in Washington for 3 years running with 1,173 Ridgefield homes being planned or permitted within the last 12 months alone, and that number is expected to increase.     In a recent transportation survey, 80 percent of commuters would readily take a job in Clark County, if available, to reduce commute time and avoid the Oregon income tax.
